For people who are not comfortable talking in front of a camera, Video Edge can record the person just telling his or her story.  These oral histories provide the opportunity for loved ones to share their feelings and experiences in a setting that is similar to talking with old friends around the kitchen table. 

Recording an oral history lets the storyteller engage the audience by allowing each individual listener to bring his or her perception into tales that are shared.  

Using professional sound equipment, we are able to record a conversation directly into a laptop computer.  Once we have captured the stories, we can quickly and easily edit the content and produce a CD or create a digital file for transfer or storage.

Oral histories are easily adapted for use in a wide variety of other multimedia programs, such videos and slideshows.
